Season 2, Episode 5: Eve Side-stealer and Indigenous Faith

Pulitzer-prize winning poet Natalie Diaz creates poems using a wide range of biblical allusions. Her poem “If Eve Side-Stealer and Mary Busted-Chest Ruled the World” draws imagery from Genesis and Luke Chapter 1, which Jeanne and Jennifer discuss, with digressions into Indigenous faiths, women in biblical texts, and the negative effects of missionization.
